Facebook has finally released an app for viewing its 360-degree movies photos. wered by Oculus, the app works exclusively with the Samsung Gear VR through the Oculus site, lets you explore view Facebook 360 content in all its glory. No longer will you need to hold tilt your phone to see what’s happening. You need only launch the Facebook 360 app, pop your Galaxy phone into your Gear VR headset, you’ll be transported to faraway ls breathtaking lscapes....

Nvidia has started rolling out the first major software update for its in-house tablet – the Tegra Note 7. The update bumps the Android version on the device from 4.2.2 to 4.3, and also brings other major improvements to the cmaera and stylus department. The Tegra Note 7 did not receive positive reviews, mainly because of its underwhelming screen and software. While Nvidia cannot fix the sub-par screen now, it can definitely fix the latter....

Samsung is trying to douse the flames from the growing Galaxy Note7 dumpster fire. The company confirmed it’s working with the Consumer oduct Safety Commission, the U.S. government’s arm for ensuring products do no harm, on procedures for replacing the hsets with new models that won’t spontaneously catch on fire. The latest statement by Samsung says in no uncertain terms that everyone should power off stop using the Note7 immediately....

The Australian Broadcasting and other officials blamed China for hacking Australia’s Weather Bureau of Meteorology. The officials said that “the computer system misbehaved and uncontrollable by means somebody is playing with our computer system” unfortunately compromised the computer system of the federal government. Other officials citing the same that they didn’t even have the evidence to blame China, but still, it is quite sure regarding China’s growing hacking activities all over the world make life-critical – other weather broadcast agencies are also being affected after the hacking, which will cost millions of dollars to fix the same....

The LG Stylo 3 is the successor to the last year’s Stylo 2. With that said, it’s the same device that the Korean maker unveiled a month back in December. LG has launched the K42 in India with the ‘Made in India’ tag. The device was previously spotted on BIS certification and has finally launched. The military grade LG K42 with quad camera comes at a rather attractive price tag of Rs 10,990 ($151) in India. Google has officially announced that the Nearby Share feature will soon allow you to share files between devices logged into with the same account. Nearby Share lets you easily share files between Android and Chrome OS devices after approving a share request. While the proposal to approve the transaction acts as protection on the device against unwanted files, it can be inconvenient to you if you’re sharing a file between your devices, as you’ve to approve the share request twice....

LG today uploaded a video on YouTube teasing the camera of its upcoming flagship — LG G4. Unfortunately, the teaser video only reveals that the G4’s camera will come with an F/1.8 aperture. LG has already sent out invites for the official unveiling of the G4 on April 28. Torvalds says Linux 5.19 contains “nothing really interesting” and a “lot of random stuff”. The most interesting thing about the release, according to Torvalds, is the fact he used an Arm64 development platform. Torvalds has been keen on using an Apple M1 MacBook Air, which he’s previously said would be “almost perfect, except for the OS.” Last year the Asahi Linux project was working to bring the Arch Linux distro to Apple’s M1 architecture....
