Previous reports have indicated that Google plans on bringing granular permissions control to Android with Android M. Now, the folks over at Android Police have provided more information about how this feature will work. According to their sources, Google will decouple app permissions while installing them. This means that installing an app itself will not give it access to all the permissions. Instead, it is when the app is started the first time, a series of dialog boxes will pop up asking users to confirm whether you want this app to access your contacts, location etc....

At this point, we’re just waiting for Motorola to officially announce what we already know. We’ve already seen what’s believed to be a “near final” prototype of the handset, seen the specs breakdown, and seen the front panel in the wild. Now, one final leak shows us that familiar design once again. This is a premium mid-range smartphone from Motorola whose capabilities can be extended using Moto Mods. The thermostat is expected to help save you on the heating bill with the built in intelligence. I am somehow not convinced by the frosted display which only seems to dull the display. Rotating the ring will show the temperature and will also let you set the same. Nest has apparently put a polarized glass on the top of the 320 x 320 panel, and this is done to blur the display intentionally....
