Nokia 2.3: Design and Display
The Nokia 2.3 features a 3D nano-textured cover that offers a distinct look and provides a comfortable grip in hand, while the high-precision diecast aluminum chassis claims to offer rigid protection to the internals. Besides this, the company says that the use of advanced structural engineering allows it to integrate the dual camera and flash on the rear of the device without adding a camera bump. Towards the front, the phone has a 6.2-inch HD+ in-cell display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 1520 x 700 pixels screen resolution. Using an in-cell display allows the company to maintain a thin form factor, while also keeping the weight low. The phone comes in three color options: Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal.
Nokia 2.3: Performance
At its core, the Nokia 2.3 comes with a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU, coupled with 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB with microSD card). It includes a 4000mAh battery with an AI-assisted Adaptive Battery technology, which, Nokia promises to offer 2 days of battery life on a single charge. As for other hardware specifications, the phone comes with micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, a dedicated Google Assistant Button, and supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 5.0. On the software front, the Nokia 2.3 runs on Android 9 out of the box. However, the company says that the phone is Android 10 ready, which suggests that it will soon get the Android 10 update. In addition, the company also guarantees monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years.
Nokia 2.3: Camera
For optics, the Nokia 2.3 sports dual-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor, with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies and Facial Unlock.
Nokia 2.3: Pricing and Availability
The Nokia 2.3 is priced at 109 Euro (~ USD 121 / INR 8,622). It will be available starting mid-December.
