When Google launched Android 7.0 Nougat earlier this year, several different Nexus-branded devices picked up the new software. The Nexus 9 LTE wasn’t one of them. However, Google pointed out that the Nexus 9 LTE, along with the Nexus 6, would be getting it soon. The Nexus 6 has already been updated, and so it’s finally time for the Nexus 9 with LTE connectivity to get its time in the lime light. As reported by Android Police, the tablet is now receiving Android 7.0 Nougat. Google hasn’t released the OTA image or the factory image just yet, but the software is now getting rolled out, at least. It’s worth noting that the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Nexus 9 LTE features the security patch from back at the beginning of September. Do you own a Nexus 9 LTE?
