Nextbit has officially announced a brand new beta program for software running on the Robin. That means customers can try out full updates, as well as new features, before the public. Nextbit does weigh some caution for those who might want to try it out, though, saying that testing beta software is a risk, and that testers accept that risk to try out new software and features and provide feedback, to make the software ready for prime time. You’ll have a chance to use features that haven’t been released to the public. However, keep in mind the beta program is not intended as a way to quick way to cut to the front of the line for new software. It’s a responsibility, and you accept risk on the behalf of other users.
