Another day, another Nexus 7 leak. The folks over at Engadget have been tipped by one of their tipsters of what is the potential specs sheet of the new Nexus 7. The tip confirms that the Nexus 7 will come with a quad-core Snapdragon APQ8064 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, and an Adreno 320 GPU. Keep in mind that this is the same SoC that is found inside the Nexus 4, and is slightly older and slower from the ones found inside the Galaxy S4 and HTC One. There is also a 1.2MP front-facing shooter, and a 5MP snapper at the back something which the previous Nexus 7 lacked. Two new features that the new Nexus 7 will pack include a SlimPort, like the Nexus 4, and wireless charging support. Considering the bump in the hardware, the $29 price increase for the 16GB version and $20 for the 32GB version seems plausible. The tipster also suggests that Staples will start selling the new Nexus 7 on July 31st with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on-board.
