The Motorola X is among the most hyped and anticipated handsets of the year. Motorola has not really managed to come up with ground breaking devices in the last two years, but after Google’s acquisition and thanks to rumors, the expectations from the Moto X phone are huge.
However, it looks like we may have been expecting too much from the device. @evleaks, one of the most prolific source of leaked devices on the Internet in recent times, tweeted about the specs of the Motorola X phone earlier today, and they are downright disappointing. According to him, the Moto X is going to pack a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 720p display of unknown dimensions, a 10MP camera in the back with a 2MP snapper in the front. The device will presumably be running stock Android 4.2.2. While this leak can very well be fake, @evleaks has been pretty spot-on in the past. Even then, specs are not the only thing that can make or break a phone. There is a lack of a power-packed Android phone with a screen size of around 4.3-inches. It looks like the Moto X is aimed at those people, and hopefully, with an all-day battery life and decent price, the device should be a winner.
