Last year, Motorola gave a generous discount on the Moto X (2013) during Cyber Monday. This year the company will be repeating its act and will offer hefty discounts on the unlocked and Verizon variant of the Moto X (2014). Motorola will be offering a discount of $140 on the unlocked variant of the Moto X — effectively dropping its price to $359. For Verizon wireless customer, the company will be offering the 16GB variant of the X for a cent, with the 32GB variant coming in at $50.01. You will also be able to buy the wooden or leather back Moto X for an additional $25 on Verizon. The offer will be valid for Verizon customers who are due for an upgrade, or who are willing to add a new line to their existing plan. It will also be valid for customers who will be signing up for a new account on Verizon wireless. Motorola will also be offering 30% off on all its accessories — except for Chromecast — to all Moto X buyers. Interested buyers will first have to register here. The link will go live on 1st December, Monday from 11AM CST in the United States and from 2AM CST in Europe. Once you have registered, Motorola will send you a promotional code that will be valid for 14 days — until 15th December. At a price of $359, the Moto X (2014) is a formidable phone with a 5.2-inch screen, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM and a 13MP rear camera. The handset is not without its flaws, but the usability experience offered by it is better than nearly all the other Android devices out there.
