Motorola today released the Moto Turbo in India. The handset is known as the Droid Turbo in the United States, and is among the most impressive smartphones in the market currently. Just like its U.S./CDMA sibling, the Turbo comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM and a gigantic 3900mAh battery. It also sports a 21MP snapper at the rear and a 2MP shooter in the front. While the Turbo does not come with a microSD card slot, it makes up for it by offering 64GB of internal storage space. Like the Moto X, the Moto Turbo features support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The handset can last an additional 8 hours when charged by the bundled Turbo Charger for only 15 mins. Out of the box, the handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and packs some of Motorola’s unique features like Moto Display, Moto Voice and more. Despite its high-end specs, Motorola has priced the Turbo at a pretty reasonable Rs. 41,999. This is lower than the Galaxy Note 4, which sports somewhat similar specs, as well as the Nexus 6 that retails for Rs. 43,999 in India. Like other handsets from Motorola, the Moto Turbo is available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart in India.
