One of the most worthwhile Android Wear-based smartwatches on the market right now is still the Moto 360, and now it’s just received a big price drop from the manufacturer. As 2015 began, the Moto 360 has seen quite a few price drops and specials that have seen it become an even harder smartwatch to ignore for those looking to buy one, but Motorola has been one source that’s tried to keep the price at the $249.99 mark the longest. That changes today, though, as Motorola has cut the price of the Moto 360 by $100, which means that configurations for the smartwatch now start at $149.99. Recently, Motorola added the Moto 360 to its Moto Maker program, which means that anyone looking to pick one up can customize it with several different options, from cases to the bands wrapped around the owner’s wrists. Some options will raise the price a bit, but with the wearable now starting at $150, it’s certainly worth taking a look at. The price drop, and considering the Moto 360 is nearing its one-year life mark, suggests that Motorola is getting ready to unveil something else, a successor to the first, but when that might happen is anyone’s guess at this point.
