Moto G9: Design and Display

The Moto G9 comes with a plastic body with a water-repellent design and features a fingerprint scanner on the rear, right below the camera module. Talking about which, the device has a square camera housing for its triple sensors and flash. Towards the front, there is a 6.5-inch MaxVision HD+ display, which comes with a teardrop style notch to house the front-facing camera and offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes in two colors: Sapphire Blue and Forest Green.

Moto G9: Performance

Under the hood, the Moto G9 runs on the Snapdragon 662 chipset with up to 2.0GHz clock speed, and the 610 GPU for graphics processing. There is 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card. To power the internals, the device includes a 5000mAh battery with 20W Turbopower charging. As for other specifications, the G9 comes with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC for connectivity. Moreover, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Moto G9: Camera

In the camera department, the Moto G9 sports a triple-camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the front, the device has an 8MP (f/2.2) camera.

The Moto G9 comes in only one configuration: 4GB + 64GB and is priced at Rs 11,499. At this price, it is competing with the likes of Redmi Note 9, Realme Narzo 10 and others It will be available on sale starting August 31 on Flipkart.
