Motorola’s latest budget wonder, the Moto G5 Plus, will be making its way to the US shores on March 31 for $229, with pre-orders starting on March 24.
The Moto G5 Plus is easily one of the best budget Android handsets to launch this year. Powered by Qualcomm’s excellent Snapdragon 625 chipset, the handset sports a 12MP f/1.7 shooter at its rear that can take some impressive photos. The handset also runs on a near-stock build of Android 7.0 Nougat that makes it an impressive performer. Do note that the Moto G5 Plus units sold in the US will not come with NFC so you will not be able to use Android Pay on it. In addition, the handset will only be available for purchase unlocked and not through any carrier.
