You know how some people always complain that you can’t find a decent Android phone with a screen that’s smaller than 5.0 inches? Well, Sony solved that problem in Japan with the launch of the Xperia Z1F last month. It’ll come to international markets, for sure, but it’s going to be called the Z1s instead. So if you’re wondering why I put the word “leak” in quotation marks in the headline, it’s because you can’t really leak a phone that’s technically already out.
But anyway, the Xperia Z1s/Z1F, what’s it all about? It has a 4.3 inch 720p display, Snapdragon 800, 2 GB of RAM, and a 20.7 megapixel camera. For all intents and purposes, and let’s ignore the recently announced Snapdragon 805 for a second, this phone is a flagship device. Period. If I’m wrong about then, then it’ll be MWC in Barcelona in February instead.
