Microsoft announced it’s bringing Cortana to Android as soon as ly. Android users will be able to download a beta version of Microsoft’s digital assistant from the ay Store. It won’t have all of the features available to ndows one 8.1 users, but it will serve as a helpful companion app for those who have ndows 10 s at home. The story behind the story: Microsoft’s been moving fast to make its apps available across all platforms, but this takes the cake. Cortana is ostensibly Now’s equivalent for the ndows platform, except with more personality bigger bring. Cortana helped bring an edge to the ailing ndows one platform. Now that she’s exping beyond Redmond’s ecosystem, it’ll be interesting to see how she plays with others.
