The well-known American computer manufacturer which is based in Denver, Colorado specializing in the sale of notebooks, desktops, and servers, of course, I am talking about none other than System76 who recently presented its new range of desktop computers known as Thelio. Basically, this new desktop, Thelio is the world’s first open source desktop for the community presented by the well-known American computer manufacturer, of course, System76. At the moment, this open source desktop, of course, Thelio is composed of its own chassis with wooden finish and its specifications are mentioned below in the image. Basically, the system box contains a board that manages the connections of the box, a thermal control and the hard disk for storage.

However, the key components of these machines like motherboard, processor, memory and graphics card remain the same in all models. But if there is something that you want to start of your own then do not worry about that as this well-known American computer manufacturer, of course, System76 will also offer you its own open firmware that is being certified by OSHWA (Open Source Hardware Association). So, for the moment, if you buy a Thelio and depending on the chosen hardware, then you have to install the proprietary drivers for the hardware of other brands like Nvidia or AMD graphics.
