It’s true. There’s no need to pay for an eReader when you already have these gadgets at your disposal.
On top of the Kindle app’s cosmetic changes comes some functionality upgrades. It’s now easier to do a search within the app, not only for books already in your library but to also search for new books that you don’t have. The coolest change involves the book that you are currently reading. A permanent button now appears on the navigation bar, allowing you to one-tap your way back into whatever it is that you’re reading. There’s also a new feature for Apple users. With Goodreads built into Kindle, you can now discover and discuss books with friends, authors and the community. This is currently only available on iOS but could make its way into Android in the future. It’s a great way to experience eBooks if you’ve never done so. Who knows? Maybe you’ll love eBooks so much you’ll decide to pick up an eReader and start your own digital library.
