With the impending launch of Reliance Jio’s 4G LTE network in India, the Indian telecom market has gone into a frenzy. While operators like AirTel and Vodafone are worried about the drop in their revenues due to the launch of Jio, consumers are excited and eagerly awaiting Reliance to commercially launch Jio 4G services to gain access to true 4G network and data speeds at a low price.

However, many people are confused as to whether Reliance Jio will support their handset or not. While plenty of handsets sold in India are 4G compatible, not all of them support the bands used by Reliance Jio. And many don’t even support VoLTE out of the box, which means you won’t be able to make phone calls at all. So, to ease your worries, we have compiled a list of devices that are confirmed working with Reliance Jio 4G. Some devices might require a provisioning update to support VoLTE, so the list has been broken down into two. The first is the list of devices on which a Reliance Jio SIM works as it should, while the second list contains names of some popular devices that support Jio’s data network but require a provisioning update for VoLTE to work. If your handset is not mentioned in the list below, just head over to your OEM’s website and confirm that it supports LTE Bands 3 (1800Mhz), 5 (850MHz) and 40 (2300MHz).
