While LG’s first Android Wear powered smartwatch is still a couple of months away, the company has been continuously releasing teasers for it. Today, the company has released the first promo video of the G Watch showing off its “sleek and lightweight” design “for all-day comfort” and “metal body for a timeless look”. The 0:53 seconds teaser video also highlights the waterproof design of the watch and its battery efficiency with a vague “ready for anything, anytime with a single charge” claim.
The G Watch will be the Korean company’s first smartwatch ever and will be powered by Android Wear, and will come with always-on voice recognition and Google Now integration. LG had earlier teased about the G Watch’s always-on display and water resistant design. LG and Motorola are expected to unveil their first smartwatches by June this year at a price point of around $300.
